On May 3, 2024, on the occasion of the May 4th Youth Day, in order to actively fulfill corporate social responsibility and help young people establish a clear sense of career planning, Jiangyin Meituo Metal Manufacturing Co., Ltd., together with the Party Branch of Dongzhi Community of Ligang Street, local “Two New” Party organizations, non-public enterprises, and Chengxi High School, jointly carried out a career education experience program titled “Facing the Future, Building Dreams and Growing Together”.
This activity promoted resource sharing and coordinated linkage among schools, enterprises and communities, injected new vitality into grassroots governance and talent cultivation, and marked an important step toward building a school–community cooperation model featuring two-way empowerment and mutual development.
More than 60 participants, including leaders from the Party Branch of Chengxi High School, teacher representatives, Grade 10 students and parents, took part in the activity.

As an important part of this career education program, students visited Jiangyin Meituo Metal Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and toured the company’s modern production facilities. They learned about metal manufacturing process flows, talent requirements, and the development trends of intelligent manufacturing (intelligent manufacturing) in the industry.
During the visit, students not only experienced the strong development momentum of local enterprises, but also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of professionalism, skill accumulation, and learning capability for future career development, laying a foundation for clearer career direction.
Sharing growth stories to inspire youth motivation
During the discussion session, Wu Feng, Secretary of the Party Branch of Meituo, shared his personal growth experience, including his studies at Northwestern Polytechnical University and his professional and management experience at Huawei. He encouraged students to remain committed to learning, face challenges with determination, and prepare for the future with solid knowledge and perseverance.
Xu Lixue, Chairman of the Labor Union of Jujiang Iron Engineering Co., Ltd., introduced corporate culture, product quality concepts, and social responsibility practices through real cases, helping students recognize the importance of values and responsibility in career development.
Young Party member Ma Yingdong shared insights from his community work experience, explaining the capabilities and responsibilities required for grassroots positions, and encouraged motivated students to serve their hometowns through community engagement.
Student representatives from Chengxi High School also shared the school’s red history, calling on peers to inherit revolutionary traditions and take on responsibilities in the new era.
Professional guidance helps clarify direction and illuminate career paths
The event invited career planning consultant Wang Hui to deliver a themed lecture, guiding students to better understand themselves and plan for the future. She emphasized that learning remains the top priority at this stage, and that future development requires responsibility, persistence and action. The lecture helped students establish clearer career goals and strengthened their confidence in future development.
